After creating BREAKING THE BACKBOARD, a performance for a professional women’s basketball team, the duo are continuing to explore the boundary between sporting and choreographic movement, this time with a solo figure of no lesser note: Amel Bouderra.

Awarded best French player in the 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 seasons, she has been playing for Flammes Carolo Basket (Charleville-Mézières club) since 2007, where she currently heads up the training centre. A player of Algerian origin who stands at 1’61m, she is renowned for her fiery temperament on the court and her human qualities, which she puts to good use in a number of humanitarian causes.

This performance will showcase the performance and aesthetic aspects of basketball through the use of basketball movements and match stories.
