Lilith#2

As part of the Dialogues de Royaumont programme, in February, 2018, Marinette Dozeville recreated Lilith#2, as a solo for Pierre Lison, a young dancer from the CNSMD of Paris (Paris Higher National Academy of Dance and Music).

It was an exciting experience to start out from a pre-existing piece and make it into a completely different version featuring a male performer who also happens to be very young…

Drawing from the original piece, intersected by teenage performances on film, the work exudes quite a different sort of sensuality, nonchalance and irreverence.
