Do You Dance? #2

What is this impulse which suddenly sweeps over you when you are listening to one of your favourite hits? Why does everyone have such a profound relationship with their body and their way of moving? Why do we dance?

Upon invitation by the Abbé Pierre Foundation, the Company takes over FabricA for an evening and invites you to take part in the great dance, Vous dancez? in order to examine and share in our relationship with dance.

To conceive the ball, dancers Marinette Dozeville, Anne Bogard, Chloé Favriau, Marion Lucas, Delphine Mothes and Dominique Le Marrec are hosting workshops this summer in Amiens, Avignon, Nîmes, Cavaillon and Grenoble, at institutions which combat extreme poverty, bringing together residents, dance enthusiasts and volunteers who will get you involved in dancing to a DJ set by Clotilde Jeansen, with the cooperation of the team of the C’est pas du luxe Festival.

Vous dansez? #2 was first performed for the C’est pas du luxe Festival in 2021 at La FabricA, Avignon, and then repeated in September, 2022, for the opening of the season at Le Manège – a national theatre in Reims.
